Happy New Year to all! I sincerely wish you have had the holiday season you wished for.

To start my 2014, I decided to pacify the obsessive child within and organise my CD collection. You can only imagine my confusion when deciding how to categorize such albums as ‘Sting: Songs from the Labyrinth’ (singer/songwriter or early music?), ‘Mason Williams: Music 1968 – 1971’ (where to even start…?) or ‘Kenny G: Breathless’ (dinner music or calm-the-baby-down?). However, I persevered and here I am to tell the tale.

Having trawled through roughly thirteen years of assorted musical phases (more or less punctuated by variations in facial acne), I came across some wonderful gems. If you are curious to know what kind of musical exploration it truly takes to become a professional violinist, I encourage you to have a look at the examples I below.

Right, I’m off to watch some Eastern Asian cinema. Cionara.
