 John regularly
appears in concerts (often in aid of charities), private functions
and festivals all over the country. His repertoire is
extremely varied; as well as performing as a
soloist in the classical arena, he enjoys
playing with the West Midlands Light Orchestra which
supports a variety of good causes through
money raised at its concerts.
Forthcoming events include:-

16th May 2008 - 7:30 p.m. - St. John's & St.
Peter's Church, Ladywood, Birmingham. The Vaughan Williams Players
present a tribute to Vaughan Williams. Programme to include 'The
Lark Ascending', soloist John Garner, and a new orchestral work by
Andrew Browning.

Hall Birmingham, with the Academy Chamber Orchestra; program to
include Prokofiev Violin Concerto No 2 in G minor (soloist John
Garner)

1st July 2007 - 07:30 - Symphony Hall,
Birmingham. Save the Children charity concert. Programme to
include Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D, 1st mvt. (soloist John
Garner) together with Elmhurst Ballet and the King Edward's School
Symphony Orchestra, Chopin Nocturne (soloist Jinah Shim),
Medelssohn Midsummer Night's Dream.
